West End Middle School students enjoyed celebrating the holidays for an afternoon of fun at WEXP. The students divided into teams for a lively competition of making gingerbread houses, crafting them out of graham crackers, icing, and candy! They were judged on creativity, structure stability, and teamwork. They all loved being able to eat the the sweets afterward!
Other students had fun participating in a “Secret Santa” gift exchange. They brought hand wrapped items under $5 and played a game taking turns “stealing” a gift from another student, or opening their present and choosing to keep it. Everyone was impressed with the unique gifts that were brought and had fun playing with their toys and sharing the candy.
